The Tour Auto Lissac, a major international motoring event, is the world’s oldest automobile racing competition. Bringing together more than two hundred classic cars from the four corners of the world - Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Jaguar, and Ferrari - the tour is “the event” for classic car enthusiasts.

50 years ago, two Italian cars trusted the French Roads
Exactly fifty years ago, the Ferrari 250GT, possibly the most emblematic of the “Commendatore’s” creations, started a complete domination upon the “Tour de France Automobile”.

From 1957 on, there was another successful Italian car, this time in the Tourism category, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Amongst its pilots, one name stands out, Bernard Consten.

The 2007 Tour Auto Lissac, will, of course, welcome a competitive and varied grid that is prepared to take up the challenge thrown by the Italian cars - Aston, Jaguar, Porsche, Lotus. These demonstrate that the Tour Auto Lissac, is, above all, a grid that mixes quality and diversity.

A new edition, a new experience …
For sixteen years now, the Tour Auto Lissac and its dream cars have crisscrossed the French countryside, running a renewed itinerary every year, from circuits and road stages to town stops. Yesterday in Cannes or Biarritz, tomorrow to another destination with, as usual, a handpicked route offering unique landscapes on the most scenic secondary roads.
